In 2008 Chepstow School students achieved another excellent set of results. At A Level 79% of results were grades A to C and 98% were grades A to E. Six students achieved straight A grades across all their subjects. These were Rebecca Ayres, Tom Flower, Emma Kelley, Katie Morgan, Sophie Rees and Stephanie Wong.
Our AS level results were also very impressive.
"We had anticipated good results this year, but our students have exceeded our expectations. We are delighted that so many students have done so well. The results are a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff."
John Barnbrook (Headteacher).

Resit Policy
We must stress how important it is for students to achieve the expected grade in their subjects at their first sitting. This means that they do not need to re-study work already covered and are better able to manage their new studies. It also has an effect upon UCAS and job interviews.
If there is a need for a student to resit a module in a subject then the student will be allowed to resit that module in school, although they will be charged the examination fee. This cost varies according to the subject. Details can be obtained from Ms E. Newth, our Examinations Officer (01291 - 635766).
