Last November, the School put on a fantastic performance of "The Sound of Music" which received tremendous praise from fellow students, parents and the local community! Well done to all of those who took part - both in front and behind the scenes.
We held an Exhibition of our AS and A2 Level Students' Artwork in June 2009 in the Art Department. This was a tremendous opportunity for students, parents and the community to view the extremely high level of work produced by our sixth form students. Mrs. Judith Lowery, Head of Art at School was very encouraged by the large number of visitors to the Exhibition. You can view an example of the work produced, by clicking on the invitation shown below.
Early July 2009 saw our lower school students take part in the Creative Arts Faculty Evening - "Out of Africa" Evening - which was a great success, despite not being blessed by good weather, and the evening having to move inside. Students from each year group performed individually, in pairs and in tutor groups to wow the audience with their talent - which ranged from signing, dancing, clowns, juggling, break-dancing, acting and diabolos. The African theme to the evening was topped off with refreshments- provided by our ever present PTA members. Yet again - a really successful event at school.
Our School production this year will be Wizard of Oz which will start on Wednesday, 11th November 2009. Further details will follow.
