Chepstow School :: Term dates

If you would like to take your child out of school for holiday reasons, during term time, you should complete an Application for Term Time Holiday form. Click on this link to download the form.

If you need to take your child out of school for an unavoidable absence during term time (for example a medical, dentist, optician's appointment) you should complete the relevant Request for Authorisation of Unavoidable Absence form. Click on this link to download the form.

School Calendar: The School Calendars for September 2011 to August 2012 will be prepared in the next few weeks. Each calendar costs £3.00. The calendars give all important information for the next academic year, including: week1/week2, term dates, early finishes, inset days, parents' evenings, school trips, school council meetings, school discos, school productions, pta meetings, year group events and examination dates/study leave.

Autumn Term 2011:
Begins: 6th September 2011 (Yrs 7, 11, 12).
Whole school starts on Wed, 7th September 2011.
Half term: 24th October to 28th October (incl).
Term ends: Friday, 16th December 2011 @ 1pm.

Spring Term 2012:
Begins Tuesday, 3rd January 2012
Half term: 13th February to 17th February (incl).
Term ends: Thursday, 5th April 2012

Summer Term 2012:
Begins: 23rd April 2012
Half term: 4th June to 8th June (incl).
Term ends: Thursday, 19th July 2012 @ 1pm

MAY DAY BANK HOLIDAY:
Monday, 7th May 2012
