Please see our section on John Lewis Department Store  for information on purchsing items of uniform from John Lewis at Cribbs Causeway, The Mall, Bristol : http://www.chepstowschool.com/lewis.php.  A copy of their Order Form for our Uniform is available by clicking on this link:  http://www.chepstowschool.com/uploads/John_Lewis_Uniform_order_form.pdf

Full details of our new optional P.E. kit (shown opposite), and the order form is given below.

-----------------------------

Our uniform is smart. We expect everyone to wear it with pride. The uniform is the same for boys and girls.

Years 7-11
Light blue shirts smartly worn
Black trousers or skirts
Black shoes (low heels for girls).  No trainers
School ties
V neck plain black sweater (optional)
Black blazer with school badge
Shower proof fleece lined jacket in the school style (optional)

We would ask parents/carers to help us by making sure that uniform is worn correctly, with ties done up properly and shirts worn appropriately.  Trainers are not acceptable for school.  Students who arrive in school wearing trainers will be loaned black daps to wear for the day.

Jewellery - one small stud earring in each ear is allowed with no other jewellery.  Facial and body piercings are not allowed.  New piercings should be done at the start of the holiday to allow healing to take place.  This will allow ear studs to be removed for PE and any other form of piercing to be removed for school.

Hair  - please make sure that hair is not coloured with bright "unnatural" shades, that haris is not cut and/or combed into Mohican styles and that tram lines are not cut into hair.

Sixth Form
To present a unified appearance and for identification purposes, Sixth Formers will continue to wear red or black polo shirts.  The shirts can be purchased from the school office at £7.50 each and a variety of sizes are available, including fitted versions for girls.

The remainder of the outfit is at the discretion of the student, although all clothing should be respectable and appropriate to wear in a school environment.

For all official occasions at school, students should wear the Sixth Form uniform, which is a white shirt, black trousers or skirt, black shoes and the Sixth Form tie, which can be purchased from the school office.

Physical Education
We take pride in the smart appearance of all students taking part in sport both in lessons and when representing the school.

New optional additional items of Chepstow School Sportswear can be purchased via a link on our letters page (http://www.chepstowschool.com/uploads/Chepstow_PE_Kit_Order_Form_09.pdf) from PSM Sportswear.  These items include a red hoodie, a black and red anorak (which could double as a school coat), a P.E. skort (combined shorts and skirt) for girls, tops and black tracksuit trousers - shown pictured above.  The hoodie and other tops will be printed with names on the reverse.  This name may be first name, surname or appropriate nickname (to be agreed before printing!).  Respresentives from PSM Sportswear will be in school between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, 29th July if students wish to try on the additional PE kit.  Orders can be taken on that day.  If parents are unable to attend on 29th July, you can upload the order form and send it direct to PSM Sportswear.  All orders must be received by PSM Sportswear by 17th August, so that kit is available for the beginning of September.
